Educating Nepal’s 2nd Annual day was celebrated in the project village Majhigaun, Jholunge. Event was a great success in itself as the team was able to rejoice it with the community. The students from the school actively participated in the event with their talents such as dancing, poetry, jokes and musical performances. In the event, were present teachers and people from neighboring villages. There was a formal program in which EN president Mr. Binod Basnet, president of the school management Committee Mr. Bal Bahadur Majhi and the principal of the school Mr. Ninendra Acharya recited their words of motivation to the students and the community. The members of ‘youth wing’ were enthusiastically involved in preparation of a grand feast for the night.
Following these activities, there was a traditional lyrical battle (Dohori) between the community task force (WOMEN/”Aama Samuha”) and the ENlighteners in which the villagers were able to express their suppressed feelings, which they normally cannot.
